The last couple of months has been pretty dark for me personally. I know I am far from alone. Truth be told things really haven’t gotten any better. And again, I know I am not unique. This isn’t me playing the victim card but rather admitting that like so many others I know things are bad, I want to help, and I just don’t know where to begin.
I should be grateful. I have been able to stick to my guns and despite immense pressures, I am unvaccinated thus far and I have not been banished or lectured by any of my doctors. I found remote employment with decent pay (for now, who knows what a dollar will buy next week) and good benefits. Now all this good fortune could end soon because the company I work for has made policies mandating vaccination for their workers on site. And, despite my being remote, I was recently asked if I was vaccinated and if not, do I intend on getting the vaccine, and if so, by what date! All that notwithstanding, on paper, my life looks stable. It would appear I am holding the line. And to an extent that is true.
Yet my attempt to relocate to Florida failed due to a housing shortage. So being near family, as was the plan, never materialized. I am, by and large, all alone out here.
For added fun inflation has decimated nearly a third of what little savings I had. I can no longer work with youth, which is my passion unless it is in Florida because of all 50 states, red, blue, and purple, Florida is the only state in the union where I can get a position doing the one thing I was truly good at, and loved, without submitting to forced vaccination.
Submission. That is the forest folks are missing for the vaccine tree.
Submission to the vaccine is personal because of my injury and my childhood, it’s true. But let’s look beyond that to the obvious: each time we submit to fear and pressure we’ve given the enemy ground we’ll struggle to get back. Perhaps we’ll never get it back. The vaccines are a path to many things, including digital identification, and public health emergencies are the ideal cover for testing new systems of control and concealing the ongoing and hastening transfer of power from the local level, and from the people themselves to one central authority. In the last 26.5 months, we have forfeited so much. The medical and educational institutions are almost entirely under the control of supranational organizations like the World Health Organization, and the United Nations and things we once imagined couldn’t happen have become commonplace. Let’s name just a few:
1.    The loss of America’s role as the leading superpower. For better or worse this is bad news. We can rehash history and all the terrible crimes committed another time, but I dare say it is fair to assume that China as the head of a world government would be dangerous, to put it mildly. And let us operate under no illusions, China would start by brutalizing the American people.
2.    Our so-called public servants granting themselves extraordinary powers, locking us in our homes, and don’t be fooled this isn’t over. The precedent has been set and barring some bravery they will crack down much harder next time.
3.    Inflation and food shortages.
4.    Leaning on other countries for all our medicines and food when we have all the resources right here at home.
5.    Doctors can now refuse to see patients if they’re not vaccinated. This is especially criminal when you look at the pediatricians doing it.
6.    The talk of a completely digital currency in America.
7.    And while there is so much more, I think it’s crucial to put the loss of relationships on the list. Among other things, this is a campaign designed to divide us and isolate us. And it has worked swimmingly.
There is so much more to discuss. Part of my goal today was to simply force myself to write something just to get back into the habit. I won’t lie, when you cannot convince your family with clear evidence it’s hard to imagine attempting to educate others.
The writing on the wall is clear. I am just a regular guy of average intelligence, and I can see through their lies. Why? Because it’s so obvious that they’re laughing at the people who mask and line up to get boosted. They study us and unfortunately, we’re a quick read. It’s not difficult to know how we’ll react. So, the elite beta test routinely to assess us, and they may pump the breaks if the test results aren’t favorable, but they’re not giving up. That doesn’t mean we don’t have options, however. But there will be no heroes.
A friend of mine and someone who has become fairly well known for her research on Human Impact Investing, Social Impact Investing, the Metaverse, and much more gave me some blunt advice not long ago. To paraphrase she said I’m not trying to sound like a nihilist, but the idea that you’re going to change the world as one person is not realistic. What you can do is tap your unique gifts and drop them into the world to create ripples.
So, Alison’s actual words were far more eloquent, but the message was clear and resonated with me. The key is to have countless people on the same page making ripples.
While they all meet in Davos to discuss ruining what it means to be human let us make ripples.
Every day, put a drop in the bucket.
Every ripple counts!
